This past Sunday we had a little shindig for our daughter Ellie. She turned one… which is still so weird to say. She had the party with her best little girlfriend Peyton. The two had a blast. I promised family I would post these…

Yes we are pregnant! Surprise (for us too).
I am 2 and 1/2 months (10 weeks).
Things have been going well. I actually got to see the baby on Friday and hear the little heartbeat!
Though, we definitely were NOT planning on having a baby this soon, we are excited. God is blessing us once again!
I will admit. I am so scared. I am scared about being a mom of two and not just one (those of you have more than one… bring on the advice). I am scared about how this will effect my working in the home, etc. But, God is definitely showing me that HE is in control. He won’t give me more than I can handle! If you can, keep us in prayer as we continue to strive to do what it is He wants for us. We have some big decisions to make about our homes, finances, etc.
My due date is September 20th. Ellie will be a little over 18 months at that time (anyone think I could potty train her before the new one??) I am feeling the full effects of pregnancy, just like I did with Ellie. Right now the biggest thing is the morning, afternoon, and evening sickness! I have lost 6 lbs already… so I really need to work on keeping things down. But, other than that, I am doing great!
We are excited about yet another new adventure for our lives! I will keep you posted!

That is excellent news! Congrats to you and Luke!
It sounds like you guys are surrounded by wonderful friends, family and community. That support is so huge. Having two is so much fun! It wasn’t until Emma was here that I thought about my children’s relationship. It is an overwhelming joy to see them make each other laugh, play and dance together. I am happy for you!
